Jake Gallen is a born and raised Las Vegas native who has found himself as a member, creator, and founder of multiple projects, organizations, and businesses. Upon graduating from Chaparral High School, where he played Football and ran Track & Field, Jake attended UNLV where he graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology. During his collegiate career Jake was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity where he held Executive Board positions for 3 years including Vice President, Treasurer, and Rush Chair.
Upon college graduation Jake dove immediately into the world of entrepreneurship and opened up his first business with his father “NextGen Pickers. NGP took a modern approach to the traditional model of Antique & Collectible stores by integrating QR codes into the display which showcased the price, story, and history of the item. The store operated for 2 years from 2017-2018.
During that same year of 2017 Jake co-founded a ticket verification app known as “Chameleon Verify Network”, which was a p2p verification system that fought ticket fraud with an integrated social network and verification system. That business operated for 3 years from summer 2017 through spring 2020.
Outside of the startup realm Jake has ventured down other paths of interest including the world of finance by beginning to trade the FX markets in summer of 2016 and then inevitably moving over to crypto in early 2017 after his discovery of Bitcoin and Ethereum, where he currently actively participates today.
From 2010-2020 Jake worked on the Las Vegas Strip where he divided his first five years at the Planet Hollywood Party Pool as a Model Cabana Host and the latter five as a Model Beverage Runner at the world famous Omnia Nightclub.
When the Las Vegas Strip shut down due to the COVID pandemic in Spring of 2020 Jake quickly turned the page to his next chapter and created “The Guest List Podcast”, which focused on long-form conversations with leaders, creators, and entrepreneurs in Las Vegas. Quickly that podcast became a Top 6 podcast in Las Vegas receiving awards, publicity, and 40,000 downloads in its first two years.
Today, Jake is pursuing his passions in the world of Cryptocurrency & NFTs through multiple endeavors. During 2021 Jake; Co-Founded Nativ Research, a crypto consultation group that focuses on mainstream adoption in Las Vegas, sold 3 NFTs at Sotheby’s Auction House, and rebranded “The Guest List Podcast” into the “Jake Gallen Podcast” which now focuses on Crypto and NFTs.
